Dylan Mika is one of the few NZ Rugby players to represent two nations at international level: Samoa in 1994 and New Zealand in 1999.

He played flanker for the Blues between 1996 and 1998 as well as 2000, interspersed with one season at the Chiefs in 1999.  It was while with the Chiefs that Mika earned his All Black selection and gained a spot in the 1999 Rugby World Cup team. He played club rugby in Japan after the Blues’ 2000 Super Rugby season.
