There is, what all Blues fans hope, will be an unexpected bonus at the end of the Super Rugby season.
The Blues Club membership for fans to watch all eight home round robin games in the 2019 season is already great value from $169 for adults and only $59 for kids.
While the team is a long way from getting ahead of itself, if the Blues make the playoffs this year, then members will get FREE entry to all Blues home playoff matches, including the final.
“Every year many loyal and new members sign up for another Blues season and this year we want to recognise their commitment with an up-front promise to them” said GM Fan Engagement Robyn Rowley.
“We cannot predict what will happen, but we appreciate our fans have waited a long time for play offs success. If we achieve that this year then we want to thank them for the loyalty and faith in the club”.
“We are working really hard in our pre-season and the players have come back from the holiday break in really good shape,” said coach Leon Macdonald.
“Every team in this competition will come out fit and fired-up and we are not coming in under any illusions. Equally we are aiming for the top and we will be doing everything in our power to get there.”
New co-captain Patrick Tuipulotu, who has just come back into the squad as part of the All Blacks who had an extended break after their end of season tour, said he is pleased with what he has seen in the squad.
“They have clearly worked really hard in pre-season and it will be up to us as All Blacks to be able to catch up to the level they have reached.
“More importantly I am really impressed with the culture within this squad and the desire to leave no stone unturned to perform well this year. The team hopes that our fans will get on board with us and enjoy the ride.”
Members must renew or join by the first home game on Saturday 16 February 2019 to qualify for Free Finals and Terms and Conditions apply. For more information see theblues.co.nz/memberships
